Babe Ruth, nicknamed the Bambino, is possibly the greatest player to ever step foot on the baseball diamond. He started off playing with the Orioles for a brief amount before going to the Red Sox. Then, in the most famous trade in mlb history, the Red Sox traded him to the Yankees for just cash. This trade initiated the Curse of the Bambino, a 86 year long world series drought, for the red sox. Meanwhile, the Yankees would become a dynasty for essentially the rest of the century and in total, would win 27 rings. Babe Ruth would evolve into the god he his, hitting 714 home runs and bat for a lifetime average of .374
